Full organic certification, lightweight bottles and a new brand called Tiritiri are key to the future at Neudorf VIneyards and winemaker Todd Stevens will head these and other changes in his new role as general manager at the Nelson winery.

Todd Stevens joined Neudorf as winemaker in 2012 and he will continue in this position, as well as being general manager from March 2020.

Todd graduated with a Bachelor Business Studies before doing post gradudate studies in viticulture and oenology.  His winemaking career kicked off in Central Otago at Quartz Reef and Felton Road as well as vintages in USA (Oregon),  Austria (Burgenland), and France (Burgundy).

He will work closely with viticulturist Stefan Brockley and marketing director Rosie Finn, daughter of Neudorf founders, Tim and Judy, to run Neudorf. The winery is a small and family owned. The vineyard was planted by the Finns in 1978, predominantly in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes as well as aromatics, including Riesling, PInot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc with Albarino joining more recently.
