Attention to detail is paramount at Felton Road winery in Bannockburn, Central Otago. All grapes are grown biodynamically (and certified) and this translates into a healthy growing environment (and healthy grapes to make wine), which is part of the overarching philosophy at this winery to make the best they can from each vineyard. This wine is a blend of grapes grown on Felton’s vineyards in Bannockburn and puts forward concentrated ripeness in taste with delicate smoky aromas underpinning the dark cherry, rich dried plum and red floral notes. It’s medium bodied with a succulent mid palate and lingering finish. Drinking well now, it will age superbly for at least seven to eight years.
